(DC) Reporter thinks White House good place to talk of Johnson, though many consider term national disaster. Hopes he doesn't listen to hypocritical bunk. Own career not most valuable priority; would have ended bombing if thought it would bring peace. Didn't inspire, he infuriated; quicker way to get things done. Johnson shook hands with paratrooper on way to Vietnam and found out he had infant son; Frank Reynolds thought at time how God-awful to be President Johnson told Frank Reynolds if unjust things said of Nixon, would be displeased farmer in Texas. Frank Reynolds right proud to have known him.
