(Studio) Commentator suggests Senator Eagleton's revelations about his medical record may prove to be a short-term wonder. Host of past incidents of that nature suggest that elections are won and lost by ability of number 1 candidate, and all other factors have only marginal influence. (Chicago Mayor Daley will work for McGovern if he shows he's a vote getter and those wounds will heal.) Recalls secret Nixon fund of 1952 when he was running for Vice President, which didn't stop Eisenhower. In 1884, Grover Cleveland found to be living in sin with a lady, and to have had a child by her. His opponent, James Blaine, pointed to his own pure family life.
