(Studio) Militant representatives of nondelegate groups pressure Democrat committee for seats on convention floor.

(Miami Beach, Florida) Poor People's Coalition returns to Democrat headquarters but are refused admittance. They storm doors, pour inside, take over platform. Democrat Chairperson Lawrence O'Brien leaves by rear door. [Welfare Rights Org. Beulah SANDERS - expresses determination to be seated on convention floor.] [SCLC, Reverend Ralph ABERNATHY - doesn't want Nixon to have another 4 years in White House, but doesn't want to be taken for granted by Democrats] Coalition sits quietly during committee meeting Ldrs. then recognized and Chairperson O'Brien appears among them. [O'BRIEN - explains lack of room on convention floors.] Democratic leaders meet with leaders of nondelegate groups to resolve growing crisis.
