(Studio) In 1970, Russians stopped Lithuanian seaman from defecting and President Nixon vowed it would never happen again. Reporter says Russian exchange student involved in shoplifting incident (charges dropped) persuaded to return home. Attempted suicide causes officials to demand hearing to find if he really wants to return.
