(Studio) Rome launches program encouraging mass transit.

(Rome) City Bus. Company drops 50 lire (8 1/2 cents) charge and permits free rides for 9 day trial period. 30% more people rode bus first days, then 70%, but just as many cars on street; buses used for mid-town transit only. [Car drivers interviewed show preference for car.]
