(Bethesda, Maryland) BCG stops cancer tumor from growing in guinea pig. BCG has been used as antituberculosis vaccine. [Chief, Biology Branch, National Cancer Institute, Herbert RAPP - exhibits test animals with cancer.] [National Cancer Institute Immunologist, Dr. William TERRY - says BCG may be useful on humans.] BCG only effective in early stages of cancer, and has not been perfected for humans.
