(NYC) Senator George McGovern woos Italian Ambassador by walking 25 blocks in parade. Stops at Saint Patrick's Cathedral to speak with Cardinal Terence Cooke. Arrives at reviewing stand filled with Nixon surrogate campaigners. New York City Mayor John Lindsay leaves Republicans to join McGovern and his state campaign chairperson Robert Wagner.
