(Studio) General Alexander Haig, Henry Kissinger's aide, returns to Saigon for more talks with South Vietnam President Thieu.

(State Department) President intends to get tough with Thieu. Haig will try to win Thieu's endorsement of peace agreement before Kissinger's climactic mtg. with North Vietnam. Serious complications remain.
