(Studio) At least 16 killed, 10 missing after explosion in coke plant at Weirton Steel Company near Weirton, West Virginia.

(Steubenville, Ohio) Final checking procedures underway in coke plant at Brown's Island when series of explosions began. Coppers Company of Pittsburgh, contractors on job, had not yet turned new plant over to Weirton Steel division of National Steel Corporation Danger of further explosions from broken gas lines.
