(Studio) General Alexander Haig arrives Saigon with ultimatum from President Nixon to President Thieu for latter to sign peace agreement or lose all United States military aid.

(Saigon, South Vietnam) Haig carries Thieu's reply back to DC. Newsmen seek to find out more about bombing. Info. broadcast by Radio Hanoi before broadcast by United States commander, reporters complain. North Vietnam may step up ground war in response to renewed bombing. South Vietnam feels confident it can repel attacks.
