(Studio) Rogers Morton will stay as Interior Secretary, George Romney replaced at U.S. Housing and Urban Development by James Lynn, ex-Secretary Commerce.

(DC) US Housing and Urban Development is dream gone sour. MUD plagued by scandal and inadequate funds. Romney wanted to increase housing for low-income groups, but program turned into windfall for profiteers. Model cities a failure. [LYNN - says hopes to learn something about housing.] Feared by some Lynn will preside over Nixon's dismantlement of HUD.
