[Senator Mark HATFIELD - says offices used by Congress a relic of 19th century.] Senator offices assigned by seniority system. Senator Aiken highest in seniority - came to Senator in 1941. Edward Kennedy's office very cramped. Philip Hart loaned new furniture by office supply firm.
