(Studio) Executive Director NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) , Roy Wilkins tells House hearing that blacks incredulous with President Nixon's alignment with supporters of segregation. Nixon's address to Congress on busing to be televised live at 10:00 p.m. EST tonight.

(White House) Nixon has expressed opposition to busing, and his proposed action on matter is subject of tonight's speech. [WILKINS - says Nixon is forsaking fair course of action for politically expedient one.] Before Florida primary straw vote against busing, President Press Secretary Ronald Ziegler said Nixon would not request television coverage of address on busing. Ziegler says Wallace's strong showing had nothing to do with President changing his mind.
