(Studio) Happy ending to year old Vietnam story occurs outside Tacoma, WA.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd
(Fort Lewis, WA) Staff sergeant and Mrs. Donald Fryer adopt Vietnam orphan after much difficulty. Test had shown Fryer to be a drug addict, which he was not. President Nixon cut through red tape and had orphan David sent to Fryers. [FRYER - says David is a Mexican, Am, Vietnam baby who's sensitive.]
