(Studio) North Vietnam troops and tanks advance on Cambodian market center of Kompong Trabek in Parrot's Beak section. Impt. as it is gateway to South Vietnam's Mekong Delta. United States Air Force and Marine fighter-bombers destroy 14 tanks, but enemy drive continues.

(Kompong Trabek, Cambodia) Cambodian district towns in path of North Vietnam have been destroyed. Fighting rages around Kompong Trabek on Highway 1 to South Vietnam. Cambodian forces fight only to retake population ctrs. such as this. Fighting destroys Buddhist monastery.
