(Studio) At least 50,000 Americans killed each year in auto accidents. An experimental safety car tested.

(Phoenix, Arizona) Fairchild-Hiller and AMP experimental safety vehicles demonstrated in crash, with Transportation Secretary Volpe. and industry representatives present. General Motors Corporation and Ford participate in project. [VOLPE - says virtual evolution in cars is in progress; each year more tested safety features will be incorporated.]
