(Studio) American warplanes destroy 15 bridges in raids over North Vietnam. American pilots use more laser and television guided "smart bombs" in air war.

(Pentagon) Officially named Walleye II, Navy pilots call their smart bomb "Fat Albert." television camera in bomb shows pilots where bomb is heading, allowing them to be dropped from high altitudes out of range of ground fire. [Navy films of bomb shown.] Bombs cost $15,000 apiece.
