(Studio) South Vietnam relief force trying to reach An Loc, attacked 3 mile from besieged city, on Highway 13. In central highlands, battle for Kontum in 5th day. American planes hit enemy concentrations outside city.

(Kontum, South Vietnam) Only way in or out of Kontum is by copter. Shops closed; more than 1/2 population has fled. Regional forces fight enemy infiltrators in hand-to-hand combat. Supplies dropped from planes which can't land. Copters bring in more troops. Refugees try to board them but are refused for present.
