(Studio) 44-yr.-old Bobby Baker, former secretary to Senate Democrats, paroled after serving 1/2 of 3 year sentence for income-tax evasion, fraud, and theft at Lewisburg Penitentiary.

(Allenwood, Pennsylvania) 16 month, 17 days in minimum security camp, working as clerk and groundskeeper, are over for Baker. [BAKER - says he was innocent but did duty with honor. Describes May 9 letter from John Carmody of Washington "Post" requesting interview. Says he grants no interviews until book completed in about 12 mos.]
