(Studio) White House rumors have it that shooting in Vietnam may stop at any time.

(DC) Moscow, USSR rptdly. passes word that temporary Vietnam cease-fire is possible if United States goes back to Paris Peace Talks. President Nixon interested but wary; awaits return of Henry Kissinger from Peking, China before making decisive assessment. Soviet President Podgorny returns to Russia after difficult consultation with North Vietnam leaders North Vietnam may now be willing to settle for political (as opposed to military) solution to war. Admin. does not want to raise false hopes, but Nixon will address nation on Vietnam.
