(Studio) Gang of hijackers takes over Delta Airlines jet, demands and gets $1 million ransom in Miami, Florida, stops in Boston, Massachusetts, to pick up navigator, heads for Algeria.

(Miami, Florida) Jet from Detroit, Michigan, taken over by 8 passengers. FBI agent in bathing trunks hands over ransom. 82 passengers and 2 stewardesses allowed to deplane. [Passenger Elaine OTTEVAERE - says money hoisted to plane by rope.] 3 men, 2 women, 3 children, all black, make up hijack group. 1 man dressed as priest.
