[NIXON - says all President since Lincoln have endorsed strong national defense Instead of honoring deserters, Nixon honors those who served country.] (Utica, Michigan) Nixon dedicates Eisenhower H.S. Blasts busing for school integration. Leaves for San Clemente, California, with campaign stop in San Diego. Field poll shows Nixon leading in California by 8%.
