(Studio) North Vietnam steps up pressure against Hue, South Vietnam, and Kompong Trabek and Neak Luong in Cambodia. American jets knock out 14 tanks. Cambodian towns are on Highway 1 leading to South Vietnam's Mekong Delta. 2 villages near Hue overrun. Major assault on Hue expected.

(Hue, South Vietnam) Local South Vietnam popular defense forces arrive on armored personnel carriers when Communist troops discovered. Villagers caught in middle. North Vietnam occupy Vinh Te in darkness. They are part of advance unit to control area for attack on Hue. Cameraman Vinh Ve 1 of 3 newsmen hit in battle. Returns to battle to take more pictures.
