(Studio) Govt. officials' relationship with big grain dealers questioned. House subcommittee questions Clarence Palmby about role in negotiations, new job with grain dealer, and big sale by dealer to USSR .

(DC) Palmby background described. Left Agriculture Department to join Continental Grain Company In 30 days, Continental sold 5 million tons wheat to USSR , before others realized market existed. Palmby suspected. [PALMBY - denies wrongdoing.] GOP's seem satisfied; some Democrats not. Democrat suspicions detailed. Justice Department said suspicious of interest conflict.
