(Studio) President Nixon not lulled into complacency by lead in polls.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(NYC) New immigrants' museum in base of Statue of Liberty, toured by President and Mrs. Nixon. Ethnic groups represented in crowd. [NIXON - praises immigrants for their patriotism to American] Antiwar activists shout. Crowd chants "4 more years" Nixon meets with Jewish leaders, and with New York Governor Rockefeller, Senators Javits and Buckley. Fund-raising dinner and closed circuit television speech for 29 cities tonight.
