(DC) This reporter believes Justice Department; Agnew plea bargaining only solution to keep more American confidence in pols. from disintegrating. Nixon's involvement with White House tapes, Mideast war and Agnew probe too much for nation to bear at once. Agnew wanted money; Watergate participants wanted power. Nixon administration to be long remembered for lawlessness.
