Israel retaliates with bombing raids inside Syria. Israeli casualties heavy although no figures to be released till after war. Israeli economy suffers also. Thousands of tourists stranded in Israel. [New York City tourist Benjamin COHEN - feels confident with regard to plight although wife fears outcome.] [Tourist Julius KATZMAN - expresses surprise over circumstances surrounding his presence in Israel during Mideast war.] Citizens lack enthusiasm over war.
