(Studio) Interview between new special Watergate prosecutor Leon Jaworski and this reporter follows through courtesy of KHOU-TV, Houston, Texas. [JAWORSKI - feels assurance no restraints to be placed on duty as prosecutor. If President sees difficulties, House and Senator leadership must be consulted before firing.] Jaworski asked if new independence of job helped him decide to accept. [JAWORSKI - changes helped in decision. Recalls reasons for rejecting job when approached before Archibald Cox apptd.] Jaworski asked how he will get documents and memos needed for investigation. Documents refused to Cox by White House [JAWORSKI - states he will insist needed evidence be produced by White House] Jaworski asked about timetable in Watergate investigation. [JAWORSKI - expects to make full use of Cox's previous work and will continue where Cox's left off.] Questioned if Jaworski and Cox have talked of job. [JAWORSKI - hopes to discuss job with Cox soon.] Jaworski questioned about reasons for getting involved in Watergate affair. [JAWORSKI - replies he was compelled to continue investigation.
