(Baker, California) Stn. owner, Bob Kennedy, reports busted gamblers offer Kennedy most anything for tank of gas. [KENNEDY - outlines offers.] Stn. owner Ken George has own hock shop started from busted gamblers. [GEORGE - reveals stories told by fast talking gamblers.] Reporter asks George about collateral. [GEORGE - says even children have been offered.] To operate gas station in Baker is to operate hock shop.
