(Studio) Snag develops in planned wkend. release American POW's.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(Pentagon) All troops and POW's to be out of Vietnam by wkend., but deal collapses in dispute over 9 POW's held in Laos. North Vietnam says knows nothing about POW's. Peace agreement says nothing about POW's held in Laos, but US says Kissinger reached understanding with North Vietnam that Laos-held POW's would be released along with others held in Vietnam. Possible that Pathet Lao didn't go along with North Vietnam agreement.
