(Studio) L. Pat. Gray admits White House attorney John Dean probably lied to FBI agents investigating Watergate case.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd
(DC) Under questioning by Senator Robert Byrd, Gray says Dean told FBI agent he didn't know Watergate defendant E. Howard Hunt had White House office. This was after Dean had Hunt's White House office raided and files from office transferred to his own office. [BYRD - says he's amazed that Gray continued, and would still continue, to supply raw FBI files to Dean in face of fact that Dean lied to FBI.] White House condemns Byrd's questioning.
