(Studio) Congress updating all federal criminal laws.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd
(DC) Nixon sends proposals on crime to Congress Proposes that leaking of classified government papers be made crime. Presently this is not so unless papers harmful to national security. This is subject of Pentagon Papers trial of Dan. Ellsberg. Another proposal would make obscenity criminal. Other sections recommend restoration death penalty, limitation insanity definition and high mandatory jail terms for drug pushers.
