(Studio) Captain Michael Heck, B-52 pilot with 175 missions behind him. Decides goals of war in Vietnam don't justify mass killing and destruction. Refuses to fly further combat missions.

(Chula Vista, California) Parents of pilot say son never wanted to go to war. Didn't mind flying cargo planes but doesn't want to fly B-52's. Heck attended Whittier College. Liked acting. [Mrs. HECK - says supports son's decision.] [Mr. HECK - says United States shouldn't be involved.] [Mrs. HECK - says feels American people being deceived about war.]
