(Studio) United States bombs enemy positions near Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd
(DC) Pentagon declassifies information on United States bombing in Cambodia. Info. reveals air raids directed from headquarters in Phnom Penh. United States has flown over 9000 sorties into Cambodia between February 16 and April 18. While flights originally were directed against North Vietnam troop infiltrations, 80% bombing now carried out against native Khmer Rouge guerrillas.
