(Studio) Pentagon Papers case begins.

(Los Angeles, California) Anthony Russo and Daniel Ellsberg charged with stealing Pentagon Papers. Prosecutor David Nissen says will not go into whether war in Vietnam justified. Will prove defendants stole top secret documents. Defense attorney says trial is about Vietnam war and government secrecy. [ELLSBERG - says if Pentagon Papers had been released 20 years ago, would have been no Tonkin Gulf Resolution, no war. A million lives would have been saved.]
