(Studio) West German Chancellor Willy Brandt first head of German government to visit Israel.

(Jerusalem) [BRANDT - says can't undo horror already done but hopes Israel and Germany will look to future.] Painful experience for Brandt. Places memorial wreath on victims' graves murdered by Nazis. Israel not desirous normal relationship between Israel and Germany. Special aid, payments to Jewish survivors of Nazism, would stop.
