(Studio) Nixon addresses nation 10 p.m. EST on status Vietnam peace negotiations. Announcement comes after Henry Kissinger departs Paris, France, for US.

(Andrews AFB) After return to US, Kissinger talks with Nixon. Nixon will hold talks with cabinet and Congress leaders Nixon expected to announce cease-fire and prisoners of war release.

(Paris, France) Kissinger and Le Duc Tho meet at Hotel Majestic to initial cease-fire agreement. Reports say Secretary of State Rogers will come to Paris to sign formal agreement for US. Kissinger lunches with South Vietnam For. Min. Lam as gesture of Nixon-Thieu agreement on settlement.
