REPORTER: Roger Mudd
(DC) $15 million collected by Nixon campaign before contribution law passed. Secret list of contributors kept by President' personal secretary Rose Mary Woods. List sealed. "New Republican" magazine's Tad Szulc publicizes some names supposedly on list including Calvin Kovens, $25,000; Armand Hammer, $50,000; Howard Hughes, $200,000; Nathan Lipson, $100,000; Edgar Allen Broun, $150,000.
