(Studio) West Point cadets eliminate special punishment this week - silencing.

(West Point, New York) [Lieutenant James PELOSI - finds silencing punishment degrading.] Although exonerated from cheating charge, Pelosi spent last 2 years at West Point in virtual isolation and lived under silencing punishment. [Senior Jeff KARHOHS - believes silence treatment purposeful in its time. Now West Point cadet codes still upheld.] Newly written rules may not survive tradition, however.
