Oil, energy longer lasting than inflation, Watergate. Gas, fuel oil shortages noted, as in World War II. Conservation of fuel, dev. of new sources required. Solar energy use advocated. Alaska pipeline, strip mining possibilities considered. Rocky Mt. damage by strip mining feared. Jules Verne quoted with regard to United States space exploration.
