(Studio) Vice President designate Nelson Rockefeller battered by rumors with regard to family wealth. Latest rumor involves brother Laurance Rockefeller and his partial financing of unflattering campaign biography of Nelson's 1970 gubernatorial rival, Arthur Goldberg.

(NYC) Rockefeller doesn't think his confirmation in jeopardy. [ROCKEFELLER - claims no knowledge of brother's financing biography.] [GOLDBERG - expresses shock at Rockefeller's claim.] [Author of Goldberg book, Victor LASKY - says Rockefeller family had no say-so in book.] Most committee members considering Rockefeller's nomination refuse comment. Representatives Robert Byrd, Charles Wiggins comment, however. [Representative Don EDWARDS - refuses to pass judgement on Rockefeller.] Rockefeller likely to be recalled to testify.
