(Studio) Report on hijacking of British plane by Palestine terrorists.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(Tunis, Tunisia) Hostages already released in exchange for release of Palestine gunmen. Arabs found no country would give them sanctuary. Hijackers threaten to blow up plane and kill 3 British crewmen unless Tunisia grants them asylum and wouldn't punish them for hijacking, murder of 1 passenger and wounding of others. Tunisia agrees. [Pilot Captain James FUTCHER - tells advice crew gave hijackers with regard to blowing up plane with crew inside.] PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) demands Tunisia hand gunmen over to them for judgment. Other Arab govts. to back up demand.
