(Studio) Army regulations make particular case of love difficult for 2 people in West Germany.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite

(Heidelberg, West Germany) Army regulations forbid friendships between Army officers and enlisted men. 2nd Lieutenant Mary Lou Follett and Pvt. Jim Johnson both stationed in West Germany and want to be married. [JOHNSON - says Army regulation usually overlooked, but in this case Mary is army officer.] Jim and Mary now have a lawyer and have written to Congmen. They intend to persist in battle against Army's interference in private lives.
