(Studio) House Judiciary Committee subpoenas 11 more White House tapes.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd

(Capitol Hill) Material subpoenaed by committee reviewed. Representative Edward Hutchinson only member to vote against subpoena. [Representative Trent LOTT - insists White House tapes could prove innocence of President as well as guilt. 3 Committee also subpoenas President' diaries. [Representative Charles WIGGINS - says committee not on fishing expedition.] President' attorney James Saint Clair says President must make decision with regard to subpoenas. Democratic Representative Jerome Waldie views evidence at today's meeting differently from Representative Joseph Maraziti; details given.
