(San Francisco, California) Federal grand jury in San Francisco holds hearings re: Hearst episode. Thomas Matthews testifies after being kidnapped by Patricia and 2 SLA comrades last week Patty's former fiance Steven Weed also testifies. [WEED - urges Patty to give herself up.] Patricia's sisters issue plea for her surrender; tape played. In park near former SLA hideout, memorial service held for 6 SLA members already killed.
