(NYC) Dalkon shield sale will cease. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) doesn't recommend women now wearing device have it removed. [FDA (Food and Drug Administration) commissioner Dr. Alexander SCHMIDT - doesn't think women wearing shield should be unduly concerned.] [Planned Parenthood Dr. Elizabeth CONNELL - urges wearers not to panic.]
