(Studio) Former Secretary Treasury John Connally indicted on bribery, perjury and conspiracy charges.
REPORTER: Walter Cronkite
(DC) Watergate grand jury delivers Connally indictment to Judge George Hart. Former milk lobbyist, Jake Jacobsen, also indicted. Indictment charges reviewed. [On February 21, 1974, CONNALLY - says Jacobsen offered milk money to Connally to designate to any campaign fund he desired. Connally states he refused money.] Jacobsen to make deal with prosecution; to testify against Connally by turning state's witness.
