(Studio) Since impeachment hearings, Vice PresidentGerald Ford seems to be changing his position.

(Sutton, Massachusetts) [Last Thursday FORD - said impeachment was effort to undo 1972 election results.] Tone of Ford's defense for President mellows since last Thursday Ford with friend Tip O'Neill; both state impeachment not mentioned. Ford may feel it's time to slow President' defense if Ford likely to become President soon.
