(Studio) FTC (Federal Trade Commission) charges Ford and Chrysler with false advertising with regard to gasoline mileage for their cars during last year's gas shortage. Similar complaint against General Motors resolved.

(Detroit, Michigan) Ford television commercial shown; gasoline mileage claims misleading, according to FTC. [Chairperson of board Henry FORD II - doesn't think commercial misleading.] Complaint against Chrysler reviewed. [President of Chrysler John RICCARDO - intends to use advertisement in question, because claims valid.] General Motors' agreement with FTC outlined.
