(Studio) Ex-President Richard Nixon subpoenaed to testify in Watergate cover-up trial.
REPORTER: Roger Mudd
(DC) Attys. for John Ehrlichman filed subpoena. Subpoena shown. Only way Nixon can avoid testimony is to take 5th Amendment. Special prosecutor Leon Jaworski asks Judge John Sirica for trial delay, so subpoenaed tapes can be studied. Hearing set for Monday Foreman of original grand jury talks to grand jury members Indicates body now in favor of indicting Nixon.
